Stephanie Albrecht
was awarded with the first prize for the best talk at this year's 10th Doctoral Student Symposium of DRS Doctoral Study Program "Biomedical Sciences"

S. Albrecht is Master of Engineering and works within the group of Prof. Martina Meinke (Klinik für Dermatologie, Venerologie und Allergologie, Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin) on her dissertation project "Untersuchung der Radikalbildung durch Sonnenbestrahlung in Abhängigkeit der Dosis und spektralen Bereichen".
In cooperation with the groups of  SFB 1112 Stephanie detects radical formation in the skin induced by sun irradiation employing electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). For her studies, she uses the different skin models established within SFB 1112.

Prize-winning Talk:
Quantification and Characterization of irradiation induced radical production in different skin models by EPR spectroscopy
