Termine TransProIdee 2016-2017

TransProIdee Lecture and Seminar

Translation of Projectideasto Research- and Startup-Projects“

The aim of the course TransProIdee is to teach master and PhD students of natural sciences how to translate a scientific idea into a business concept or research project. In a series of lectures, young scientifically oriented founders of startup companies will present their career paths to provide general insights into the development of research-oriented companies. A focus will be also on the financial and economic aspects of project ideas, which have to be considered carefully.

In a series of seminars, guidelines for the preparation of scientific proposals and business plans will be given. In addition, the potential and applicability of different project ideas will be evaluated by discussing various case studies. In the end of the course, the students will present their own project ideas in form of a scientific proposal or business idea presentation.
